Hi everyone, I’m "Roots bloody roots". I have been playing techdeck fingerboards since 1999 when it is still subversive. No authentic or bona fide distributor then though me and my colleagues have already been exposed to the wonderful world of FBs. I am a member of the great underground old skool skateboard crew of the post 80’s to mid 90’s called “Sims”. We are “Trashers” before which is a term used for an individual on a straightedged moreover hardcore skater. I remember the first authentic techdeck i bought was approximately 700 PHP back then and it was one of the only 3 stocks available at Toby’s Glorrietta(it is not existing anymore). We were the lucky few to own a real Techdeck merchandise and we played until we burned our hearts out. By 2000, we started buying Techdeck goods at online stores in the expense of our visa cards. I have some skate parks that were the early promotional parks available for techdeck. I’m lucky to own the DC Shoe all blue mega-ramp and some other old skool techdeck spots. I’m still collecting fingerboard products and played them whenever i have spare time. If you guys can remember, techdeck had trick decks. If you but the package, you’ll get a fingerboard plus a trick deck which is more versatile and the component is for technical fingerboard users. That was long ago. I hope they can release all those amazing stuff again so new generation finger skaters can enjoy them. By the way, techdeck wood is a blowtorch, though it lacks mid-concave but still worthy. No “recess” decks was a smart move for techdeck. I’ll keep in touch with this site to share info and vice versa. Thank you.....

About yourself: true fingerboard prowess and keeping it underground as what how it was back then. I don’t go to fingerboard competition to show them my FB skills, they should seek for me to know and see it. I enjoy playing not to brag how great or good i am, but to satisfy myself as how we enjoy our underground Saturday night street skating with our real skateboards. What matters most is how you enjoy playing techeck and you innovate your styles not to the standard of what competition rules are but your standard of satisfaction. Real skateboard or the miniature techdecks should not be standardize because it supposed to our escape, freedom and the feel of adrenaline rush with no rules and our own rule are the only standard available. Keep the underground spirit alive, but never stop to enhance your individuality, skills and techniques. Work hard! Play hard!
